Jeanne Williams to Lin Karrels Here is what Lin had to say about her basket:

"It's absolutely beautiful. The basket start is done in teneriffe on a ring of less than 1". It's bound with raffia and beautifully stitched. The lid is incredible with an inside rim and with needles (sheath attached) finishing off the outside rim. It's conical in shape and ends at the top with a pinecone set with an acorn, some very small cones encircling the acorn along with some split pods of some type. The basket is finished with something, perhaps some type of shellac - Jeanne will have to let us know what she used. It's just too, too perfect - wonderful basket Jeanne.
