Nancy says she started on the outer rim, and worked inward with this mask. What a beauty!

Small pine needle mask, at right, by Nancy Latham. This mask was created as part of a sculpture class Nancy was taking. Unique and marvelous!
Nancy shows us her handprinted quilt. She says: "My quilt is stamped with printer’s ink and fabric paint, ( no wax involved!) using my own handcarved blocks. The background fabrics of all the blocks were dyed in our natural dye session, previously mentioned. Only the actual back of the quilt is batik (shown in the detail photo) and again, it was embellished with stamped ink and fabric paints."
