Lisa McCament, Larissa's Basket
Here's a basket I made my niece. She's 11, and she asked me to make her a basket for Christmas. I've included photos of the basket-in-progress; soon after I started this basket, I piled my raffia on the floor and my cat, Licorice, took up residence in the pile. She thought it was a wonderful nest! I swear these are NOT posed! I grabbed my camera the minute she climbed into the raffia thinking I'd miss this photo opportunity if I waited, but alas she spent the entire day sleeping in it!
